At 11:59 (EST) p.m. (notice post time) my mom ended a long labor, thanks mom!
Why does twentysomething (even 22) feel old when we know it isn’t?
To say you shouldn’t do it, would be the loss of one of the main survival techniques.
We had company over the other night. While we played LIFE and admired our tree we started to talk about work. Naturally, work seems to eventually become part of who you are. Where did my anti- nine to five protesting soul go? In what I believed to be each persons’ way of dealing with this loss, we began to complain. Amidst it all, our friend and co-worker left us with a bit of advice.
Here is something to keep in mind: Don’t complain down, only complain up the hierarchy. As for your same level co-workers, let your working relationships determine who you complain about and to whom.
Our adulthoods are framed by transitions at different stages in our life. Yet there is one thing in common, we are all becoming something. Thanks for sharing in the experience.
